The short version

We collect what we need to run the store and deliver your gear. If you join the mailing list, we'll email you, and you can unsubscribe with one click, any time. We never sell your personal information.

Who we are

ARCHELON HOLDINGS Pty Ltd (ACN 670 320 671) operates archelon.com.au. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

We only collect information you give us, or that's needed to serve you:

• Your name, email address, delivery address and phone number when you place an order
• Your email address when you join our mailing list
• Order history and correspondence when you contact us or make a warranty claim
• Device and browsing data (via cookies) that keeps the cart working and shows us how the site is used

Payment details are processed securely by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.

How we use it

Your information is used to:

• Fulfil and deliver your orders, and send you order and shipping updates
• Handle returns, exchanges and warranty claims
• Send marketing emails, only if you've subscribed
• Understand how the store is used, so we can improve it

Marketing emails

We only send marketing emails to people who have opted in. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe at any time by emailing contact@archelon.com.au. Unsubscribing never affects your orders, returns or warranty.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers that keep the store running:

• Shopify, the platform that hosts our store
• Payment providers that process your transaction
• Australia Post and delivery partners that ship your order
• The email service that sends our newsletters

Each provider receives only what they need to do their job. We never sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Some of our providers, including Shopify, store data on servers outside Australia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with Australian privacy law.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep your cart and checkout working, and analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. The store will still work, though your cart may not persist between visits.

How we protect it

Your information is protected with SSL encryption in transit, stored with reputable providers, and accessible only where needed to serve you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take all reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

Access, correction and deletion

You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@archelon.com.au and we'll respond within 30 days. We may need to retain some records to meet legal obligations, such as tax and transaction records.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as it's needed: for your orders, the life of your warranty, and any record-keeping required by law. Mailing list details are kept until you unsubscribe.
